14 Days Morocco excoursion from Casablanca

1st day: Casablanca – Rabat

In our first day of 14 Days Casablanca imperial cities Sahara tour, we will meet you at Casablanca airport, then drive you to visit Hassan II Mosque, the largest and well-decorated mosque in Africa, where the visit ended at 2 pm, owning a ticket is a must, and also it is prohibited to enter it on Fridays or religious holidays, for that reason we may visit and see only the exterior. We will continue to Rabat where to stay the night.

2nd day: Rabat – Fez

In our second day of 14 Days Casablanca imperial cities Sahara tour, and after taking breakfast, we will visit The Mohammed V Mausoleum, which is built in 1961, in the homage of the passed away king and his successor son Hassan II, then drive to the Volubilis in the North of Meknes in order to visit the beautiful widespread Roman ruins over the valley and the hills, and to Fez, where we are going to have dinner and stay the night in a riad there.

3rd day: Fez Sightseeing

In our third day of 14 Days Casablanca imperial cities Sahara tour, we will spend another day at Fez while visiting the most interesting and famous places of the city. Fez is the fourth imperial and oldest city in Morocco, where you will visit The Karaouine Mosque, the souks, The exotic Bou Inania Medersa, Fez El Jadid, and the Moroccan art Museum, great places to take memorable photos and enjoy wonderful moments.

4th day: Fez – Merzouga

In our fourth day of 14 Days Casablanca imperial cities Sahara tour, we will depart at 8 am to visit the Barbary apes in the cedar forest of Azrou, have lunch at the Apple capital of Midelt, pass by Tizi-N-Talremt pass, the Ziz Valley (famous for the length of the Oasis and palm trees), and numerous Ksars which are small villages of individual houses. We will continue to Errachidia, Erfoud (famous for fossils and The Date Festival), until Erg Chebbi Dunes where you are going to be welcomed by a cup of Moroccan mint tea, spend the night and have a delicious dinner along with Berber music, and an opportunity to climb and see the beauty of the sunset over the Sahara Dunes around the Bivouac.

5th day: Merzouga free program

In our fifth day of 14 Days Casablanca imperial cities Sahara tour, and after taking breakfast, we will have a ride in Merzouga, by visiting nomads in their Goat-hair yurts, spend some moments with them to have an idea of the life in the desert, and Gnaoua people who are originally slaves brought from Sudan, to listen to their amazing and unique music, and learn about their culture, we may also visit the » Flamingos », the lake of Merzouga, depending on the time of the year. We will continue to our desert camp, which is equipped with western bathrooms, where you will enjoy a delicious dinner, and a night to remember under the stars, while discovery the charming beauty of the Moroccan Sahara desert at Erg Chebbi golden dunes.

6th day: Merzouga – Todra Gorges

Try not to miss the beauty of the sun rising over the golden Sahara dunes by waking up early. We will ride to the hotel to have a refreshing shower after taking breakfast, then get ready to drive to Erfoud, Tinejdad, Tinghir to have lunch, then to admire the stunning views and taking photos in the road to Todra Gorges, where we will stay the night in a hotel , you are certainly going to like these beautiful river canyons.

7th day: Todra Gorges_ Zagora

We will ride to Zagora after taking breakfast, passing through the Saghro mountain, N’Qob for lunch, Daraa Valley, Tansikht, The caravan route between the Daraa river, the mountains, the gardens, the kasbahs in the valley, where we are going to stop to see the place and take some photos out there, in the road to Zagora, where you will have an amusing camel ride toward the nomad yurts, to stay the night there, at the end of the seventh day of 14 Days Casablanca imperial cities Sahara tour.

8th day: Zagora – Ouarzazate

We will drive from Zagora after breakfast, toward Ouarzazate, passing by the beautiful Iriqui Lake, the mountains, the fossils, Foum Zguid village for lunch, travel north past hills and oases of palm trees in the road to Taznakht town, which is a small Berber town famous for the traditional Gelims and rugs, until reaching an hotel in Ouarzazate.

9th day: Ouarzazate_ Taroudant

We will drive about 35 km from Ouarzazate, to « Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah », a famous Kasbah, built in the 11 century and was once a caravan route between the Sahara and Marrakesh, it is situated on a hill along the Ounila river, some part of it still inhabited, the other parts are completely damaged due to the windstorms and rainstorms, then to Taroudant where we are going to spend a night in a hotel there.

10th day: Taroudant – Essaouira

We will visit the town, which is known as « The little Marrakesh », famous for its massive ramparts and stunning medina, then travel along the Souss River Valley, which is full of Argan Groves, and the Paradise Valley passing by Taghazout, and through the mountains. At Essaouira, we will explore the town, by visiting multiple shops in the Medina and around the seafront with its fresh fish restaurants, and the Skala, before checking in a hotel to spend the night in.

11th day: Exploring Essaouira

You will have a whole day to explore Essaouira, here is some information about this wonderful town. Essaouira is renowned for its Kitesurfing and Windsurfing, horse riding, camel riding along the beach, and quad biking activities that you can enjoy while staying in Essaouira. It is known for the delicious seafood and the several small art galleries which are found all over the town. Since 1998 Essaouira is getting known by its World Music Gnaoua Festival, usually in the last week of June, which brings artists from all over the world. Although it focuses on Gnaoua music, it also includes rock, jazz, and reggae. In early 1952 the film director and actor Orson Welles made his movie Othello, and currently there is a square named Orson Welles.

12th day: Essaouira_ Marrakech

We will drive about half the road between Essaouira and Marrakesh, where you are going to see numerous big Argan trees, which goats frequently climbed in it. Argan oil is handmade and traditionally produced by women, who cooperate to form this unique oil, used to prepare Couscous, Salads, as a treatment for skin diseases, and it is founded that it is fabulous for cosmetics by the European manufacturers, you will have the opportunity to see yourself how this precious oil is made by viewing Berber women squeezes the Argan fruit to extract the oil. We will arrive in Marrakesh at the end of the day, to stay in a hotel, and have a walk if we save some time.

13th day: Marrakech Sightseeing

You will spend the whole day exploring Marrakesh city. It is the most important imperial city in Morocco, situated near the foothills of the Atlas Mountains snowcapped, and it comprises an old fortified city, The Medina, and Gueliz (a very modern city) which is built during the French occupation. Marrakesh has also the largest traditional market (souk) in Morocco and the busiest square in Africa « Jemaa El Fna » where you can see water sellers, musicians, dancers, storytellers, and snake charmers, and which turns to be a huge restaurant during the night. We will visit The tombs of several figures, The Koutoubia Mosque, built in the 12th century by Almoravid Dynasty, « Seven Saints » narrow streets, which during the reign of Moulay Ismail, the festival of the seven saints was founded by the request of the Sultan.

14th day: Marrakech _ The Airport

After taking breakfast, we will drive you to Marrakesh Airport as an end to our 14 Days Casablanca imperial cities Sahara tour.
