1st day: Fez – Erfoud
5 Days Fez Marrakech desert tour departure will be at 8 O’clock in the morning from Fez, toward the middle Atlas cedar forest of Azrou, to see the Barbary apes, where lunch will be in the peak of the Ayachi mountain at the Apple capital of Midelt. We will continue, passing by Tizi-N-Talghemt pass, The Ziz valley, which is most known by its palm trees and the length of the oasis, several Ksars and small villages. We will reach Errachidia, then Erfoud (known for its date festival and fossils), at the end of the afternoon, where we will have dinner, and spend a night in a traditionally built Hotel.
2nd day: Erfoud – Merzouga
In our second day of 5 Days Fez Marrakech desert tour , we will drive to Rissani after having breakfast, to visit the souk, then we will take the 4×4 to go to the lake, after that, we will visit the Berber Nomads; who will entertain us with a beautiful piece of music with their drums. We will continue to Erg Chebbi dunes at Merzouga, to have lunch in a lovely auberge with a swimming pool, then we will drive to the Bivouac, to get prepared for an amusing camel ride, to enjoy the sunset over the dunes. In the late afternoon, we will have dinner, under the stars, while listening and enjoying the nomad Berber music, and spend the night in the nomad yurts.
3rd day: Merzouga – Dades Gorges
Try to wake up early in the morning, to see a stunning scenery of the sunrise shadows over the Sahara dunes. We will have a short walk in the dunes after breakfast, then we will continue passing by Tinghir, Todgha Gorges to have lunch, Tinjdad, Todgha valley, where there are many places to see, along the river, the gardens and the other side of the Gorges, and to Dades valley, then to Dades Gorges, where we will have dinner, and spend a night in a hotel.
4th day: Dades Gorges – Ouarzazate
We will have a short walk in the Dades Gorges after taking breakfast. Then, we will continue toward Ouarzazate, by going off-road along Boutaghrar piste, to enjoy the atmosphere, and to visit the caves of the Berber nomads, where we will have a cup of Moroccan mint tea with a nomad family, then we will continue, passing through the valley of roses, which is well-known for the Rose Festival in May, and Skoura Kasbahs. We will reach Ouarzazate, in order to spend a night, and have dinner in a riad.
5th day: Ouarzazate – Marrakech
After taking breakfast, we will get prepared to drive into Ait Ben Haddou, the most well-known Kasbah in Morocco, and which was employed as a backdrop for multiple Hollywood blockbusters. Then, to Telouet Kasbah, which is located in the middle of the mountains, and was once belonged to the last Glaoui Pasha of Marrakech. Passing by Tizi-N-Tichka mountain pass, we will reach Marrakech as an end of 5 Days Fez Marrakech desert tour.
