DAY 1: TANGIER – CHEFCHAOUEN – FES

Your 6 Days Tour from Tangier to Chefchaouen and Merzouga begins with a warm welcome at Tangier Airport or Port. After a short city orientation through Tangier’s coastal highlights, including Cap Spartel and the Caves of Hercules, we’ll drive south through the picturesque Rif Mountains to reach Chefchaouen, the “Blue Pearl” of Morocco.
Enjoy a leisurely walk through the enchanting blue streets, discover Outa el-Hammam Square, and admire the view from the Spanish Mosque overlooking the town.
In the afternoon, continue toward Fes, crossing lush valleys and olive fields. Arrive in Fes by evening for dinner and an overnight stay in a traditional riad or hotel.

DAY 2: FES – IFRANE – AZROU – MIDELT – MERZOUGA

After breakfast, depart from Fes heading toward the Sahara Desert. The journey takes you through the scenic Middle Atlas Mountains, known for their cedar forests and charming Berber villages.
Stop in Ifrane, often called “the Switzerland of Morocco,” famous for its clean streets and alpine-style architecture. Continue to Azrou, where you can see playful Barbary apes in the cedar forest.
Drive through Midelt, the “apple capital” of Morocco, before descending toward the Ziz Valley, filled with palm trees and ancient kasbahs.
Arrive in Merzouga at the edge of the Sahara Desert. In the late afternoon, enjoy a camel trek across the majestic Erg Chebbi dunes, stopping to watch the sunset over the desert. Dinner, traditional Berber music, and an overnight stay in a luxury desert camp under a star-filled sky.

DAY 3: EXPLORE MERZOUGA DESERT

Wake up early to witness a breathtaking sunrise over the dunes, followed by breakfast at the camp. Today is dedicated to exploring the beauty and culture of the Merzouga desert region.
We’ll visit a Berber nomad family to experience their simple and hospitable way of life, then explore Khamlia village, known for its Gnawa musicians and traditional rhythms.
Visit the seasonal Sirji Lake (if water levels permit), where migratory birds like flamingos can be seen. In the afternoon, relax at your hotel or enjoy optional activities such as sandboarding or quad biking on the dunes. Dinner and overnight stay in Merzouga.

DAY 4: MERZOUGA – RISSANI – AZROU – FES

After breakfast, we’ll depart toward Rissani, a historic town once home to the ancient Sijilmassa trading center, the cradle of the Alaouite dynasty. Explore its vibrant market, known for spices, jewelry, and local produce.
Then continue north through Erfoud, Ziz Valley, and Midelt, with photo stops along the scenic route. In Azrou, visit the cedar forest once more to meet the friendly monkeys or enjoy tea with locals in a mountain café.
Arrive in Fes by evening, where you’ll spend the night in a riad within the ancient medina.

DAY 5: EXPLORE FES

After breakfast, set out to discover Fes, the spiritual and intellectual heart of Morocco. Accompanied by a local guide, explore the labyrinthine streets of Fes el-Bali, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Visit the Al Quaraouiyine University (the oldest in the world), the Bou Inania Madrasa, and the Chouara Tanneries, where leather is dyed using traditional methods.
Discover the Royal Palace, Bab Boujloud Gate, and the Mellah (Jewish Quarter).
Enjoy free time in the afternoon to shop for traditional crafts or relax in a local café. Overnight stay in Fes.

DAY 6: FES – TANGIER

After breakfast, we’ll drive north through the rolling hills and olive groves back to Tangier. Depending on your departure time, enjoy a short stop for coffee or photos along the Rif scenery before arriving at Tangier port or airport.
